The Pickle Yard
How The Pickle Yard Built a Premium Look for a New Sport
Pickleball is new enough in the Philippines that nobody has decided what it should look like yet. We gave The Pickle Yard a premium visual identity, then designed the booking flow that turned interest into court time.

Look Like the Standard, Not the Newcomer
The Pickle Yard already had the courts and the crowd. What it did not have was a visual identity that matched. In a sport this new, most venues look improvised, so the opportunity was to look deliberate instead. The work was to build a premium image the brand could carry across every branch, then remove the friction between someone seeing that image and actually getting on a court.
About The Pickle Yard
The Pickle Yard runs pickleball courts across the Philippines, with more than ten branches and a genuine community of regulars behind them. Pickleball is still young here, so there is no established visual language for the sport. Whoever sets the standard gets to define what a serious venue looks like.
The Route
Two pieces of work that only matter together. Photography and design gave people a reason to want in, and the booking design gave them a way to act on it before the feeling wore off.
- 01
Photoshoot Direction
Shot the courts, the players, and the atmosphere properly, replacing phone snaps with a library the brand could draw on for months.
- 02
Premium Visual Identity
Built a consistent look across graphics and layouts so every branch reads as the same brand rather than ten separate venues.
- 03
Graphic Material System
Produced templated design assets the team could reuse for announcements, promos, and branch openings without redesigning from scratch each time.
- 04
Social Content Rollout
Rolled the new look out across social, where most players discover a court in the first place.
- 05
Booking Experience Design
Designed the online booking flow for court rentals, so reserving a slot takes a few taps instead of a message and a wait.
- 06
Admin Dashboard Design
Designed the back end view the team uses to manage bookings and see what each branch has coming, replacing manual tracking.

The View From Here
The Pickle Yard now looks like the established name in a sport that is still deciding what established looks like. The visual work gave players a reason to pay attention, and the booking design meant that attention did not leak while someone waited for a reply. Ten branches carry the same identity, and the regulars keep coming back, which in a community sport is the number that actually compounds.
We are very thankful to Hike Up for helping us. The team is patient, hardworking, and always willing to adjust to what we need. It feels good to work with people who really care about your brand. We are grateful to be their partner.
